Our method
Almost everything horo shows starts as a deterministic calculation: the same birthday always gives the same numbers, on any device. Interpretation is a separate layer of written copy, applied by the same rules for everyone. Tarot is the exception - it is deliberately random, and the tarot section explains exactly how. Here is every rule.
Two layers
1. Calculation: fixed formulas turn birth dates into signs and numbers. 2. Interpretation: each result is matched to written copy in a dictionary, with the same rules for everyone. Both happen in your browser, and every result is free.
Astrology, numerology, chakras and the matrix are interpretive traditions for reflection. We do not present them as scientifically validated, and nothing on the site is medical, legal or financial advice.
Sun signs and the Zodiac Orbit
Sun signs use the standard tropical date table (Aries from March 21, Taurus from April 20, and so on). A birthday within one day of a boundary is flagged as near the cusp, because the exact change depends on birth year and time.
Two signs are compared by position on the 12-sign wheel: the shortest distance (0–6 signs) names the aspect - same sign, neighbors, sextile, square, trine, quincunx or opposition. Element relations are same, complementary (fire with air, earth with water) or contrasting. Modality is same or different. All 78 pairs use the same arithmetic; nothing is hardcoded per pair.
Life Path, Birthday Number and Personal Year
Reduction means adding digits until one digit remains. Life Path reduces month, day and year separately, keeping the master numbers 11, 22 and 33, then adds them and reduces again (keeping masters). Example: 12/29/1987 → 3 + 11 + 7 = 21 → 3.
Birthday Number is the day of the month reduced, keeping 11 and 22. Personal Year is reduce(month) + reduce(day) + reduce(current year), reduced to 1–9 with no master numbers; it changes every January 1.
The Personal Matrix
The matrix uses 22 values (arcana). Any sum above 22 is replaced by the sum of its digits until it is 22 or less. From the birthday: left = day, top = month, right = the digit sum of the year, bottom = left + top + right, and the center (core) = the sum of all four. Each corner is the sum of its two neighbors.
Points between each edge and the center are built the same way: edge + center, then edge + that point. The relationship and money line starts from the two lower inner points; the generational lines join opposite corners; the three purposes combine those lines. The energy map reads seven rows from these points, and each row’s third column is the sum of the first two.
Life cycles: the eight outer points sit at ages 0, 10, 20 … 70, and each ten-year span is halved again and again into eight periods of 15 months. Your current period comes from your age on today’s date.
The Connection Spectrum
Each person’s matrix energy map gives three values per dimension (body, drive, feeling). For each value we measure the distance around the 22-step cycle (so 1 and 22 are neighbors) and convert it to closeness from 0 to 1. Weighted closeness = 0.25 × body + 0.25 × drive + 0.5 × feeling.
Identical values add 0.08; pairs that complete each other to 22 add 0.04. The score is 35 + 60 × the result (capped at 1), so it runs from 35 to 95. Bands: very strong from 85, strong from 70, mixed from 55, otherwise different wavelengths. The calculation is symmetric and never uses sex or gender.
The result summary counts five lenses - zodiac, Life Path, Birthday Number, Personal Year and the Spectrum. A numerology or zodiac lens “agrees” when the net of its documented relationship rules is positive; the Spectrum agrees when at least 4 of its seven dimensions are strong. There is deliberately no single overall percentage.
The line under a result’s title counts the seven dimensions: in sync means strong or very strong (70% and up), dissonant means below 55%. Balance compares the receptive levels (#2, #4, #6) with the active levels (#1, #3, #5), each the average of its three scores; within 5 points it is even. Crown (#7) stands apart. The names describe ways of connecting, not people.
Four shared stages
Modern numerology reads a relationship in four stages, each a number from 1 to 9 tied to a planet (1 Sun, 2 Moon, 3 Jupiter, 4 Rahu, 5 Mercury, 6 Venus, 7 Ketu, 8 Saturn, 9 Mars). Meeting point: the day of birth, reduced (29 → 2 + 9 = 11 → 2). Shared mission: every digit of the date added and reduced (1 01 2000 → 1+0+1+2+0+0+0 = 4). What you build: meeting point + mission, reduced. Where it leads: all three added and reduced. The couple’s number at each stage is the two personal numbers added and reduced.
The birth-date digit grid counts how often each digit 1–9 appears in the date; zeros are not counted. Where one person’s date has a digit the other’s lacks, we say who brings it.
Pythagoras square
Four working numbers come from the date. The 1st adds every digit of the date. The 2nd adds the digits of the 1st. The 3rd is the 1st minus twice the first non-zero digit of the day, taken as a positive number. The 4th adds the digits of the 3rd. Example, 1 01 2000: 4, 4, 4 − 2 × 1 = 2, and 2.
The square counts each digit 1–9 across the date and the working numbers. Its eight lines add three cells each: columns 1-2-3 (self-esteem), 4-5-6 (money), 7-8-9 (talent); rows 1-4-7 (drive), 2-5-8 (family), 3-6-9 (stability); diagonals 1-5-9 (spirit) and 3-5-7 (temperament). A cell reads as none, some (one or two digits) or many (three or more).
Love pattern and birthday arcana
The love pattern is the birth month reduced to 1–9 (October → 1, November → 2, December → 3), read through the same nine planetary numbers.
The birthday arcana is the day of birth as one of the 22 arcana of the Personal Matrix; days 23 to 31 subtract 22, so the 1st and the 23rd share arcana I.
Life charts
Fate: the day and month written as one number with their zeros (DDMM) multiplied by the year. Each digit of the product is the level, 0 to 9, of one 12-year period from birth: 15.07.1985 → 1507 × 1985 = 2991395. Will: the same with every zero removed from the day, month and year first, so a date written without zeros has identical charts. A product shorter than seven digits continues from its first digit.
The current period is the one your age falls in; it is rising, falling or level by comparing the will at its start with the next point. These charts are an interpretive tradition for reflection, not a forecast.
Horoscopes
Horoscopes are built from real positions, not random text. We compute the Sun’s and Moon’s tropical longitude at noon UTC with standard astronomical formulas (accurate to a fraction of a degree), then count whole-sign solar houses from your Sun sign: your sign is the 1st house, the next sign the 2nd, and so on.
Daily readings follow the Moon’s house, with the waxing or waning phase choosing between a “start” and a “review” reading. Weekly readings - this week or next, Monday to Sunday - and monthly readings - this calendar month or the next - use the Sun’s house as the backdrop, list which days the Moon passes through your houses of relationships, work and rest, and include the new and full Moons in that period.
A year is different, because the Sun and the Moon end a year where they began it and so cannot tell one year from the next. The year pages are read from Jupiter and Saturn instead: Jupiter stays about a year in each sign and Saturn about two and a half, so which of your houses each of them occupies is what makes your 2026 different from your 2027. Their longitudes come from standard orbital elements with the Jupiter–Saturn perturbation terms, which places them within about a hundredth of a degree - close enough that the sign-change dates on the page are right to the day. A year that is split between two signs gets both houses written out, and a planet moving backwards through a sign is marked retrograde.
The six horoscopes
The same chart is read for six subjects, and the hub’s top row chooses between them: the general reading (the headline), love, finances, intimacy, and the women’s and men’s horoscopes. Love, finances and intimacy are simply that house seen through one subject - the 2nd and 8th houses carry money, the 5th and 8th carry closeness, and so on. Nothing about the calculation changes between them.
The women’s and men’s horoscopes are not claims about people, and we do not ask your gender anywhere on this site. They follow a long convention in which the same chart is read through the Moon and Venus - feeling and relating - or through the Sun and Mars - drive and action. Either reading is for anyone, and the labels tell you which pair of planets is doing the reading rather than who it is for.
Each sign’s own page carries all eight: those six plus work and energy, which are part of every reading rather than a row of their own.
Tarot
Tarot is the one thing on the site that is not calculated from your birthday, and the only one that is deliberately random. The deck is the standard 78 - 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana - and every card can land upright or reversed.
The shuffle runs until you stop it. When you do, your browser generates cryptographic random bytes with crypto.getRandomValues and mixes them with how long you shuffled, the exact moment you pressed stop and how many times you turned the deck. That becomes the seed for a full Fisher–Yates shuffle of all 78 cards, which are then dealt in order into the spread. Each card is turned with an even chance, the way a physical deck ends up after it has been riffled and rotated. Nobody, including us, can predict or repeat a draw.
Positions belong to the spread, not to the card count: two different seven-card spreads never share position meanings. Each position also carries the kind of question it asks - a state, a feeling, a motive, an obstacle, what is hidden, what is coming - and that decides which register of the drawn card is spoken there. The reading of the whole spread is straightforward analysis of the draw: how much of it is Major Arcana, which suit leads, which suit is missing, how much came up reversed, and whether a rank repeats.
A reading is written in your browser from the cards you drew. Only the card ids and which way up they landed are kept, in that browser tab, so you can refresh without losing it; nothing about a reading is sent to us or stored on our side. We write tarot as a symbolic practice for reflection: it describes a situation you are already in. It is not evidence about anybody else’s private thoughts, and it is not a prediction.
Privacy
Free calculations run in your browser. Birthdays are not placed in URLs, not included in analytics, and not sent to our servers for free results. Your own birthday is stored on your device only if you tick “Remember my birthday on this device”. Shared results link to public pages and never include birthdays.
